Work in Creeslough went smoothly enough as reported in The REO News from February 1957.
This digital scan from the REO News displays the following text:
"Creeslough Rural Area, Co. Donegal: The main difficulty in the construction of Creeslough area network will be easily deduced from the fact that at one stage Mr. Dearey and his crew had five tractairs working simultaneously. Apart from this however, the development of the area proceeded smoothly enough. A nett ten extra consumers were obtained and sales reached the excellent level of £1,065.
It is pleasantly surprising in fact to find that in an area of small holdings, 4 water pumps, 4 – 3 h.p. motors and 2 Landruf cookers were sold. The balance of the sales total was made up by the usual domestic appliances, a welder and a Barngold Mill."
