Sales were poor in Inniskeen according to The REO News from May 1954
This digital scan from the REO News displays the following text:
"Inniskeen Rural Area, Co. Monaghan:
The report on Inniskeen Rural Area has been submitted by Mr. W. Trueick, R.A.E.
Sales in the area were very poor and, as the principal consumers were business people in the village who were able to get their appliances at trade prices, this is not surprising. It is felt that an early visit by the Sales Van would prove fruitful.
Both Churches in the area installed 30kW of night‑storage heating and a smaller storage heating load was installed in one of the schools.
The report includes a tribute to Mr. Hogan, A.O., for his untiring efforts and ends with a special word of praise for Mr. H. Heasley, Supervisor, who discharged his first assignment in his new capacity, and with a new team, with all credit."
