“Kilmyshall Rural Area: When the Demonstration Unit, staffed by Martin Nugent, visited Kilmyshall rural area in Waterford District, it was arranged that instead of the usual hall demonstrations, displays were organised in the open and proved to be quite a success. Equipment to the value of £256. 10. 0d. was sold during the week and a further £300 may be expected as a result of the visit.
A pump demonstration was held, in conjunction with the usual demonstration, on the farm of Mr. Furlong, Ryland, Kilmyshall. In addition, several calls were made throughout the area on people who had made enquiries during the demonstrations.”
