Some final returns for Moneenroe in The REO News from January 1950
This digital scan from the REO News displays the following text:
"The final returns for the Moneenroe (Co. Kilkenny) Rural Area make cheerful reading. The nett estimated cost of work done was £14,483. Against this the actual final nett cost is £13,166, a saving of £1,317 – approximately 10%. The total length of network constructed is in close agreement with the original design and the final total of consumers at 306 is 2 more than the original estimate of 304. To the R.A.E., Mr. H.P. Adams and his crew we say, “Well Done”."
