"NEWS ITEMS (Contd.)
The good people of Pollroan (Mooncoin) Rural Area are conservative folk. The Area was the seventh selected, away back in the early days of our activities, but only 66% of the original acceptors finally took supply. In spite of repeated efforts by Waterford District Office, only three additional consumers have been obtained since January this year. We now learn that patience and quiet persistence has had its reward, and the Post Development for the Area is expected to collect an additional fifty consumers."
